St Kilda Beach
In Australia, it is called soccer. Everywhere else, it is football. Ha

p.s. Not sure how long I will last with candid photography. But I will keep going until I run out of steam.
If you run out of steam with candid photos, I hope you post other photos instead. Non-candid photos, I guess!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deb. Candid photography for me is becoming harder. Driving to CBD is like one hour minimum in congested traffic on a weekend day. Parking is like 18 bucks only available if going into city before 9 am. Then sitting around for the whole day waiting for good moments to come up. I think I could use the time to do something else too.
DeleteI enjoy your candid shots but I know anything you choose will be enjoyable :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, my mentor and a skilled candid street photographer has gone to the dark side doing professional portrait photography. I feel abandoned for some years doing this genre less and less.
Delete...it's soccer here too.
ReplyDeleteMaybe just Europe calling it football?
DeleteName is not important, as long as they are having fun.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like a Yoga teacher lol
DeleteThey were enjoying both beach & soccer ⚽️
ReplyDeleteI was actually slipping on my lemon lime bitter.
DeleteA good action shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, William.
Deletewe call soccer as well in USA
ReplyDeleteI just learnt that. Interesting for English learners in general
DeleteBoa noite meu amigo querido. Foto maravilhosa. Lembra muito as praias do Rio de Janeiro.
ReplyDeleteSo interesting to know!
DeleteSe están divirtiendo. Besos.
ReplyDeleteSo are we the bloggers :)
DeleteYou have a great eye for street action, and should continue to hone your skills. BTW, its called soccer in the U.S. as well, a fun game. Your photo captures the joy.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to see how English has evolved all over the worlds
DeleteLo llamen como lo llamen lo que está claro es que disfrutan
ReplyDeleteTrue that!
DeleteHoliday fun.
ReplyDeleteHard to find joy in a lot of things I do these days
DeleteI am surprised that it is soccer there as it is here. But you have Aus Rules Football and we have another game called football.
ReplyDeleteI used to force myself to conform to the Australian Rule Footballs. Someone as you might call a try hard. Now I just enjoy soccer lol
DeleteThat is a good one. I like the guy in the middle, that expression lol. Yes here in Scotland we call it Football or Footie for short!
ReplyDeletePlease keep posting, we love this blog :-D
Thanks! That is encouraging to know. I limit the scope of my street candid to Melbourne CBD. It is not really my part of life where I am more of a rural migrant or burb guy
DeleteNice shot! Street photos happen everywhere. Go to your local shopping centre, the neighbourhood park, the service station, your front yard! You're only limited by your imagination. Welcome, and thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I kind of limit this blog to Melbourne CBD photography. So it is becoming a chore for me. The local shopping centre forbids camera photography. So many more rules keep piling on
DeleteOne ball had two men take an interesting movement. Really good shot.
ReplyDeleteGuys love their balls lol
DeleteBeach soccer. This photo represents youth and carefreeness to me.
ReplyDeleteI miss these times
DeleteGood one
ReplyDeleteThank you, Christine!
DeleteGreat shot showing them in action.
ReplyDeleteSandy's Space
Yeah after like 200 shots of them
DeleteI see lots of people doing that on our beaches, and why not with amazing scenery.
ReplyDeleteIt is life as we call it
DeleteWonderful candids in these posts! Good shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Claudia!
