Upon the bustling thoroughfare of Acland Street, St. Kilda, there stood two aged riders, their motorbikes gleaming like relics of a bygone era. Engaging in earnest conversation with a venerable elder, they cast shadows long and thoughtful in the afternoon sun. There, amidst the ebb and flow of modernity, history and wisdom interwove, as tales of the road were shared in the language of experience and time.

I enjoyed the ocker accent there
DeleteOne never loses the feel of riding. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteThey looked the part
DeleteGreat street photo of these folks in conversation. I am surprised at how American motorcycle culture has pervaded Australia with the machines, a "bagger" and a "chopper", and even the dress wearing colors.
ReplyDeleteAustralia is almost the same as US just few years behind in technology. Cost of living is not as dear as US
DeleteI love riding motorcycles. Used to ride in my youth. Such wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ☺
Riding motorbikes is fun
DeleteEsas motocicletas son la envidia de cualquier motero que se precie. No me extraña que el anciano se quedara a verlas y admirarlas con toda la intención de descubrir esas joyas del motociclismo. Buen momento fotográfico.
ReplyDeleteAbrazo

DeleteI swear they were eating lunch at the table next to mine, lol. You're already in tomorrow. I'm still yesterday to you.

ReplyDeleteI love your narrative of this interesting photograph. Well done
ReplyDeleteHello Roentar :)
ReplyDeleteYes, your narrative has an almost poetic feel to it as you describe the scene you photographed. I think if you have been a biker in your youth you retain the fire which never dies out even in middle age Good one!.
La afición de la juventud y que todavía de mayores sigue practicando.
ReplyDeleteI have no memories about bikes, but I like
ReplyDeletethem.
