The severe distortion of UWA lens gives it an effect I dont mind too much which could be very irritating for some viewers (I noticed the phenomenon on Dpreview.com)

It still works, nice photo
ReplyDeleteThanks. Flattered
DeleteYeah, it sort of widens everything, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteThe wide frame is not for everyone's taste
DeleteUltra wide, more useful for landscape.
ReplyDeleteA test run
DeleteViendo la imagen, ahora en el invierno, me da frío verla, con el pantalón corto.
ReplyDeleteFeliz fin de semana.
I like it a lot!
ReplyDeleteThat person looks like they are getting some good exercise, don't know if I would do it in the heat though.
ReplyDeleteSimilar to people in the hot day not turning up aircon in the car
Deletecalm place.... love it
ReplyDeleteCurioso trabajo con esa lente que, efectivamente aberra bastante, pero por otra parte no hay normas que prohíban este tipo de investigaciones. Adelante con lo tuyo siempre
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the distortion at all. It adds to the sense of motion and activity in your photo. Trying to get a picture of people without a cell phone is becoming difficult.
ReplyDeleteMakes the image interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou always present an intriguing view my friend! Aloha
ReplyDeleteI don't like the distortion. : ))
ReplyDeleteStill looks fine to me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shadows
ReplyDeleteA mi me gusta.
ReplyDeleteyes, it is indeed visible that the person in the foreground has the pelvis and the thighs of the legs wide to the lower right corner.
ReplyDeleteBut the perspective on the depth of the terrace is fantastic!
I had a 8mm fish eye, that was too much for my taste and didn´t use it much. Now I have 16(-35)mm (f2.8) and that ok with me.
ReplyDeleteI´ve always liked wide angle over norm/tele. If I would have to choose only one lens I would choose Wide angle mentioned. And I get as close as I can.
In words of Robert Capa; if your photos aren´t good enoughf, you´re not close enoughf.
I had to google UWA, since I'm a point and shoot photographer literally. I like how the UWA expands your view of the scene. That said, I'd be upset if those were my legs ~ lol!
ReplyDeleteEs interesante. Un beso.
