That surprises me, Roentare! But I read your explanation to another commenter, so it makes sense. I have fishermen in my family in Nova Scotia, and a big task before they go to sea is loading ice to preserve the fish.

From the boat to market is often more than 2 weeks here. Most boats don't freeze the fish
