A blur of movement,
the city hums around him.
One man holds his lunch,
head turned right,
glasses catching the light
a brief defiance of haste.
Behind, a young chap
lifts his lens to the air,
framing what the crowd forgets.
Centre Place breathes,
a laneway of fleeting stories,
each glance a poem
half-written in passing.

The four people in your photo each have their own goals and agendas. Lunch is high on the list for the central figure, and the young photographer on the right side is lining up his shot. We can only guess at the other two people.
ReplyDeleteI could write a novel just based on the frame
