Among the crowd on Elizabeth Street,
two ladies — one wide, one thin
walked side by side in easy rhythm,
their laughter woven with the din.
My camera caught their fleeting glance,
a moment framed between our gaze
they pointed, smiling, half in jest,
half curious at my quiet craze.
The traffic hummed, the sunlight slid,
past tramlines tangled, silver, near
and in that instant, brief yet bold,
the city’s heart drew gently near.

ReplyDeleteThe heat was on
DeleteThese two ladies seem to be close friends sharing an adventure along the street. We will never know the nature of that adventure.
ReplyDeleteThey must be good friends
DeleteSomeone has caught their attention -- must be YOU!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't shy away from taking a shot
DeletePues. las dos señoras te están observando entre curiosas y con caras de pocos amigos.
ReplyDeleteI expect that

I was just taking frames of life
DeleteUna excelente fotografía de calle. Muy espontanea y sincera por parte de las personas retratadas y también por tu parte.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo
