He swung the rope with cowboy grace,
while the calf wore panic on its face.
The horse looked on as if to sigh,
“Here we go — another human trying to fly.”
The judges squinted, pens held tight,
pretending chaos could be scored just right.
And under the rodeo’s dusty spell,
even bad decisions photographed well.

ReplyDeleteSalutacions.
He is trying hard
DeleteA perfect shot, Roentare! Loved the line about the horse. 😂
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to publish this series. My friend Joel was not impressed by the series at all
DeleteThat cowboy has to be accurate with his rope, strong enough to throw the calf, and quick tying three feet together. He can't have broken the barrier, and the calf must stay tied for ten seconds minimum. Great action shot. That looks like a really big calf that will be tough to throw.
ReplyDeleteHe didn't get it either. Thanks for the insight!
Delete...an exacting skill!
ReplyDelete¡Cuánto dinamismo! ¡Maravillosa!
ReplyDeletePhotography can be fun after all
