Melbourne Candid Series #1019 Little Bourke St

Upon the path where none need heed,
No rushing wheels, no steely steed.
A young man walks with head bowed low,
His gaze entranced in screen-lit glow.

Behind him trail, in measured pace,
Two ladies lost in mirrored grace.
Through silent streets their footsteps fall,
Yet none look up—no glance at all.

  4. You're a multidisciplinary artist, and if street photography isn't easy, combining it with poetry is even more complicated. Especially if both are done very well.

  8. These verses capture very well the contrast between the modern world and the silent beauty of everyday moments. People are often absorbed by their electronic devices, even when they are on the move or in the company of others.
The photograph is exceptional - just as we've come to expect from you! ☺
