Melbourne Candid Series #1022 Collins St

Upon Collins, where footsteps glide,
The city hums in bustling stride.
Yet eyes fall not on sights anew,
But screens that glow in glassy hue.

In hand it rests, both bright and keen,
A modern charm—this silent screen.
No glance to skies, no words take flight,
Just scrolling hands in neon light.

  4. It seems almost everyone walks with their cell phone. I wonder why? I also like your poem.

  9. It’s fascinating how poetry and photography can intersect, isn’t it? They both help us see the world differently, sometimes reminding us to take a moment away from the screen and simply see what's around us.

  11. Great poem and photo. It is sad to see so many people engrossed in a screen when there is so.much more going on around them.
