I was always advised that one should own several suits before embarking on a professional career. However, for the past twenty years, I have worn the same suit, now so worn that even the sleeves bear holes.

He still looks grumpy!
ReplyDeleteHaha
DeletePerhaps it is time you treated yourself to a new suit? This fellow does not look happy. Your photo is like two ships passing in the night with no communication between them.
ReplyDeleteI am finding it an unnecessary thing to do since I spent extra with no difference to my income
DeleteMe gusta mucho el equilibrio que has conseguido con los dos personajes.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo
The attitude is through and through
DeletePeople at work.
ReplyDeleteVery good street photo
ReplyDeleteThey are theatre actors
DeleteVery enigmatic -- well dressed, yet no tie -- and what or who is he looking at so intently?
ReplyDeleteMaybe a lady with scanty clothes
DeleteI live in the part of the US that NO one wears a suit. Men look so sharp in one.
ReplyDeleteI was condemned for wearing a tie too
DeleteSiempre es bueno tener en el armario alguna ropa más presentable para ocasiones especiales.
ReplyDeleteMainly from K mart
DeleteWhat is this thing called, suit? 🤓
ReplyDeleteIt means professional apparently
DeleteYou are a known and appreciated quantity in the workplace!
ReplyDeleteTime for a new suit
ReplyDeleteWell, if you don't find suits necessary for your career, then it's okay too. My husband used to wear suits and ties to the office, but his colleagues, even his boss, all wore very casually and that made him so unfit in with the team's vibe.
ReplyDeleteBien aislado del entorno
ReplyDeleteIt’s intriguing how something as simple as a suit can tell a story of years gone by, of experiences lived, and how it can become a silent witness to one’s journey. Your reflection on the same suit over the years gives a sense of both nostalgia and resilience, a metaphor for persistence despite the wear and tear of time. It’s interesting how clothing, often seen as temporary or replaceable, can carry so much more significance.
ReplyDeleteHe looks pensive. I love your black and white photography.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ☺
Stern expression.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting photo and enjoyed. Since we retired my husband wears a suit very rarely.
ReplyDeleteThe difficult thing isn't making the suit last, it's making it fit you well...
