The chap with a cap on Little Flinders Lane,
Stands in the slant of a morning refrain.
With a cup in hand, he quietly sips,
A smoothie swirling at his lips.
Berry or mango—who’s to say?
His gaze drifts slow with the start of day.
Tram bells ring and footsteps pass,
While time runs thin through café glass.
No rush, no fuss, just city hum,
And fruit-blent calm where thinkers come.
A cap, a cup, and quiet poise
A moment soft in Melbourne noise.

DeleteThe flower in the window competes with him.
ReplyDeleteHe is pretty as flower?
DeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteNice photo taken in a quiet corner of Melbourne. It seems the man was checking the fruit juice before sipping it.
ReplyDeleteProbably a coacroach in it
DeleteLooks like he's doing a good job of stirring his coffee
ReplyDeleteYou think that is coffee?
DeleteI like it just the way you "captured" it. With the smoothie in hand and the rush of every morning.
ReplyDeleteQuick fix
DeleteMuy bien logrado ese encuadre introduciendo el detalle del florero en el escaparate
ReplyDeleteIt was more of an accident
DeleteI am sure that he enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteHe can't believe he has found the bottom of his drink. He had to check to see if the cup had a hole in it.
ReplyDeleteWell done as always.
