Melbourne Candid Series #1164 Hosier Lane

In Hosier Lane where colours sing,
And painted walls to life still cling,
Two travellers pause in the sun’s embrace,
Shades on their eyes, the world in their face.

The phone glows bright with its secret chart,
Guiding their steps like a beating heart.
Among murals bold in the laneway’s hue,
They search for a path, yet the art finds them too.

  3. Very good composition, placing the characters on the left side of the image and leaving "air" in the center and right!

  6. Maybe they were reading information about that mural or the two tourists looking for a landmark or an addess. Nice description.

    1. The murals never last a week in there. Graffiti and tagging take over

  7. This is a great shot and so reflective of how cell phones have changed our lives...and not always for the better. Thank you for linking up.
