Melbourne Candid Series #1228 Lonsdale St

On Lonsdale Street he pauses, black-clad and bowed,
A silvered arch of hat against the day;
Bone-stitched trousers whisper as he goes,
Steel wheels mark time where traffic has its say.

Between the rush, he stands—old ritual kept—
A lone, dark note the city has not swept.

  1. Great photo of the man and his unusual outfit. It seems he was surrounded by white cars. Also like the photo's contrast.

  2. I am surprised to see a Mexican Vaccaro on the streets of Melbourne.

  3. Interesante personaje con esa vestimenta que semeja un traje de torero.

  4. Excellent street photo. This Mexican gentleman looks a bit more modern than the warriors you've been photographing lately.

  8. Looks like a typical day of the dead outfit. Very nice I love it. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a very nice weekend.

  9. We all love our heritages, no matter where we land in the world. Not your typical Melbourne fashion, Roentare!

  10. He certainly seems out of place on that street wearing his traditional Mexican garb.
