Melbourne Candid Series #1270 Swanston St

Midday sun on Swanston’s spine,
one man walks the shadow line.
Shop signs blink, “optical” and bright
yet he squints through Melbourne light.

Cars crawl slow, pedestrians fade,
coffee plans already made.
No headline act, no grand parade
just a bloke and his stubborn shade.

  1. He is a pleasant looking fellow walking down the street in the bright sunshine. His T-shirt shows his love of dogs. I am surprised he is not wearing a hat or sunglasses.
