On Swanston Street the sign says OPEN bright,
A neon promise in black and white.
Shelves stand stacked in tidy rows,
Commerce hums, the city flows.
She guards the counter, phone in hand
Thumb on duty more than planned.
Outside, trams clang their daily trope
Inside, business runs on Wi-Fi hope.
