Melbourne Candid Series #1307 Swanston St

 


He fishes for coins like a plot twist late,
wallet yawning—tragically light.
Around him, the city keeps perfect time:
footsteps, chatter, neon appetite.

A bicycle waits with quiet judgment,
a sushi sign hums of better plans
yet here he stands, mid-transaction with fate,
negotiating lunch with empty hands.
