eggs with ambition, coffee adored.
A citrus parade hangs bright and round,
while footsteps stamp their polka-dots on ground.
She walks through menus she didn’t choose,
past waffles, juice, and midweek blues.
Umbrellas gossip with passing air,
chairs sit idle like they don’t care.
And somewhere between “acai” and “roll,”
the city forgets—and remembers—its soul.
