Sidewalk theatre, monochrome and brisk
a city inhales, exhales, and risks.
A tote spills secrets—Sudoku, a sleeve,
small puzzles abandoned that no one will leave.
Shoes pause mid-thought, then carry on,
faces flicker, already gone.
One leans on glass, half in, half out,
watching the river of footfall and doubt.
No one stops, yet everything stays
a quiet still life in a rush of days.

A very good shot of the street life with deep thoughts.

ReplyDeleteIt is hard to tell what is going on here. This fellow seems to have a pile of bags and papers, but viewers of your photo have no idea what he is doing. He doesn't look like a busker. Is he lost? No way to tell.
ReplyDeleteFascinating! I agree with "Taken For Granted." Love this line: "watching the river of footfall and doubt." People are always fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteA busy street, with a lot to be studied. Thank you for linking up.
