A queue leans into lunchtime light,
Phones glow brighter than the sky.
One laughs mid-step, half in a story,
Half in the city rushing by.
A hug pauses traffic more than lights,
A glance negotiates the street
And somewhere between a text and a step,
The ordinary feels complete.
