Beneath the signs and city glare,
They shuffle past without a care.
A stroller squeaks, a toddler strays,
While shoppers drift in weekday haze.
“The Beehive” hums above the crowd,
Silent, blinking, strangely proud.
And every face in black and white
Looks halfway home by fading light.
A street parade of thongs and sighs
Melbourne life in candid disguise.

ReplyDeletePerfect framing: a lovely family on the right side and people coming and going.
ReplyDeleteGreat street click
ReplyDeleteEven the youngest children seem to understand the constant coming and going of the city. There is no age limit for the processions and parades.
ReplyDeleteLa familia que pasea unida, permanece unida.

...a young family with lots of responsibilities.
ReplyDeleteThis family was in your street photo posted on May 15. This photo must have been taken a few seconds after that one. They still like like they are happy to be on an outing.
ReplyDeleteYour photo is great. I like this family with your children.
