Under floodlights pale as ghosts at sea,
the cowboy ran on borrowed bravery.
The bull snorted once, as if to say,
“Nice hat, mate — but you’re in my way.”
Dust rose thick like outlaw smoke,
boots flew faster than the jokes.
And somewhere beyond the roaring din,
common sense refused to join in.

An extraordinary photo.
ReplyDeleteThe backlighting is wonderful, and the monochrome a real luxury!
The lens and sensor resolution are very low. So I cant get details on the faces and bulls as well
DeleteA lot of movement in this photo.

Impresionante monocromo con una fuerza tremenda y una violencia contenida que paraliza.

I live in South Dakota which is rodeo country. I hope that cowboy was safe from that bull. Eight seconds in a long time to ride one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic photo! Also, a dangerous situation! Thank you for linking up.
