The
shadows trace a checkered floor,
Where quiet moments count the hours;
The bar is still, a forgotten shore,
Beneath the glass and neon flowers.
A
weary hand supports the brow,
While strangers share a fleeting glance;
The world outside is distant now,
Locked in a monochromatic dance.
Each
patron holds a silent thought,
Secured within the cafe's gleam;
A transient peace so briefly caught,
Suspended like a waking dream.

The patterns on the floor and chairs really stands out in your photo. This appears to be a popular place.
ReplyDeleteUna imagen típica de un bar donde cada quien va a lo suyo.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of this lovely place shows a great contrast (the chairs and the floor).
ReplyDeleteSalutaciones.
I love how much quiet life you’ve captured here, especially the person resting their head while everyone else carries on around them, it feels so familiar because cafés really do become little hiding places when you need a moment to yourself. The black and white makes the scene even more intimate, and I’ve just shared a new post on my blog too, so I’m enjoying catching up with everyone’s little corners of the world.
ReplyDeleteNot exactly a happy pub in some rural spot, but your words really set it up beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThe chairs and floor looks so nice. Really nice photo.
