  6. An interesting photo and the gentleman is a good focal point. It is very sad to see these stores go. I remember the small family-run shops in my childhood, and they all closed because of the larger supermarkets coming into the area. Progress? Maybe but I miss those days of the friendly greengrocer and their ilk.

    1. When I was in primary school, I used to love running to milk bars locally. For all things naughty and sweet. Now they are pretty much extinct from the city.
