Through streets of gold where merchants call,
She wandered light ‘neath evening’s thrall.
With weary gaze and laden hands,
She left behind the bustling stands.
And as my shutter caught the scene,
Her eyes shut soft, lost in between.
Through heavy glasses, she turned away,
A fleeting ghost of spent-out day.

ReplyDeleteShe is well rugged up against the cold.
ReplyDeleteShe is a sports girl who is in shape for an active life. You caught her at a quiet moment.

ReplyDeleteShe was wearing two coats although it is early autumn in the Southern hemisphere.
ReplyDeleteLovely poem. THe B&W makes it look like it was taken decades ago...but I guess fashion comes around more often than we think...
ReplyDeleteBuen retrato expontáneo, son los que más me gustan, la ciudad procura estas posibilidades, has sabido captar una expresión que vale un millón. Saludos cordiales
