A young man stands where footsteps stream,
Bourke Street hums, a midday dream.
With fingers dancing, smooth and slow,
He plays the keys in steady flow.
A tattoo winds along his skin,
A tale inked deep, a song within.
He sings with soul, his voice laid bare,
The city pauses, caught mid-air.
Coins may fall, or glances stray,
Yet still he plays the day away—
One man, one sound, one fleeting spark,
A melody that lights the dark.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been here for a while. I admit I missed you because I really enjoy your street scenes. When I travel, I always support street musicians because what they do is great.
