At dusk, the salt lake breathes a hush,
its skin a mirror to the fading blush.
A lone silhouette stands between worlds
earth below, heaven unfurled.
No ripple breaks the boundless glass,
where sky and soul in stillness pass.
The wind forgets its ancient song,
time itself lingers, lingering long.
One step — and stars bloom at the feet,
two realms of silence gently meet.
Lake Tyrrell holds the dream entire,
a mortal shadow, the sky’s desire.

Magnificent sunset shot in this fantastic landscape.
ReplyDelete...a beautiful image!
ReplyDeletePreciosa, me encanta esa fotografía.
ReplyDeleteWonderful graphic beach photo. The young couple become the focus in this fine beach photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeff, I like a shot like that once in a while

ReplyDeleteBeautiful post!
ReplyDeleteHe's crouched low to find a shell-- or perhaps a bit of worn glass. She's standing tall and waiting. And the sky is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pic and words!
ReplyDeleteThis reads like a whispered dream — timeless, tender, and deeply atmospheric.
