Melbourne Candid Series #1306 Swanston St

 


They walk where errands pretend to be urgent,
past an ATM and a dozen small dramas
a queue, a glance, a shrug.

Fingers laced like a quiet conspiracy,
they carry no map, only momentum
and the soft defiance of choosing each other
over everything loudly for sale.

The world blurs helpfully behind them
proof that love, when properly held,
turns even a footpath into a destination.
