Commerce accomplished in broad daylight.
One scans the street like a seasoned scout,
The other’s more focused on what’s in her mouth.
“Glassons,” the logos quietly proclaim
Proof that restraint is a negotiable game.
Behind them, a man checks messages unseen,
While the city performs its usual in-between.
No grand event, no curtain, no cue
Just errands, indulgence, and a crossing to do.
Yet in this small theatre of pavement and pace,
Retail meets ritual—with crumbs on its face.
