He tipped his hat to gravity
it tipped him right back.
The bull declared, "Not on my watch,"
with one spectacular buck.
Dust applauded.
The crowd held its breath.
Courage wore spurs,
and common sense took the day off.
For eight wild seconds,
neither one would yield
one chasing glory,
the other just clearing the field.

Very good
ReplyDeleteBull riding is typically the last event of a rodeo. This rider looks great so far with his left arm in the air and his heels marking the bull out of the chute. I'm glad to see the rider wearing a helmet and face guard for safety. You caught a great shot with the bull completely airborne.
ReplyDeletePer la seva cara, no les tenia totes segures.
ReplyDeleteSalutacions.
En plana faena.

...hold on!
ReplyDeleteAnother great picture of bull-riding!
ReplyDeleteThe look on the bulls face is priceless.
ReplyDeleteOhh wonderful...Good Sunday!
ReplyDeleteGood to see he's really holding on tight, have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour photo is perfect in terms on light and contrast. In addition, there isn't any dust that cover both the rider and the bull.
ReplyDeleteRodeo is great fun, full of adrenaline! This spectacular show combines cowboy tradition with incredible riding skills.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
Greetings from faraway Poland:)
Una gran toma. El toro levitando en el aire y el vaquero aguantando como puede esos 8 segundos.
ReplyDeleteBuena foto. Me gusta. Besos.
