Beneath the trees, the city flows,
Where hurried feet and bright shops meet;
A quiet wheel moves softly on,
While shadows wander down the street.
The towers rise beyond the leaves,
The noon light falls on stone and glass;
And through the restless tide of life,
Each solitary moment passes.
Yet in this crowded, fleeting scene,
The trees stand calm, serene, and wise
Rooted beneath the passing years,
While human footsteps fade and rise.
