Along the shore, the waters gleam,
While silent stones guard every dream;
And young hearts pause beside the tide,
Where earth and river meet and glide.
The hours drift softly, unafraid,
In rippling light and shadow laid;
And life, for one brief moment still,
Rests quietly beside the hill.

ReplyDeleteThis young couple sitting along the shore is sharing something on her cell phone and not taking in their amazing environment. That is a bit sad.
ReplyDeleteI wish them well. He's OK, but she needs to toss the phone into the river.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully said, but I agree with Bill. She needs to get rid of that phone.
